Jill Oie

Jill is a certified Training Provider for the American Red Cross as a First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, NREMT, and a certified instructor for Wilderness First Aid/First Responder. Jill has certifications in Advanced Wilderness Expedition Provider, SAR, AWLS, and an Associate in Wilderness Medicine from the Univ. of Utah School of Medicine.

Jill has been an active member of her county’s search and rescue team for more than ten years, with the passion to continue for many more. She is involved in nearly all aspects of the team – from field operations to the Board of Directors, as well as teaching the Hug-A-Tree program to elementary students.

Jill also works as K9 Support for multiple search dog handlers in providing navigation, communications, and meeting overall needs for the handlers and their dogs while on missions.
