Course Description
Overview
Level up your wilderness first aid training when you lead groups or spend prolonged time in austere low-resource conditions where help can take days to arrive.
Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is the industry standard 70-hour certification for group leaders, guides and others who everyone who plays, works, lives or travels in remote, backcountry or rural settings where 911 or EMS aren't immediately available.
This hybrid course meets the requirements for Philmont and other Scouting America high-adventure bases, NICA, the National Park Service, American Camp Association and many others.

- Free upgrade to Wilderness EMT if you have a current state EMS license or NREMT cert

Alfred Felker is the founder and director of Scout Tactical Training Group. He obtained numerous skills, promotions, commendations, certifications, and high level tactical training during his law enforcement career, as well as has having continued his education relating to wilderness and primitive skills, firearms training, wilderness survival, advanced land navigation, woodland search and rescue techniques, and tracking.
