Overview
Learn how to handle medical emergencies when help is more than a quick call away.
Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the industry standard 16-hour certification for everyone who plays, works, lives or travels in remote, backcountry or rural settings where 911 or EMS aren't immediately available.
This hybrid course meets the requirements for Philmont and other Scouting America high-adventure bases, NICA, the National Park Service, American Camp Association and many others.

Meet Your Training Team
This course is offered by Brian Regan.
Brian Regan is a licensed Paramedic and Wilderness EMT with 40 years of experience.
He also teaches Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Advanced Medical Life Support, EMS Safety, All Hazards Disaster Response, Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, Backpacking Medicine, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Life Support.
He is an instructor trainer for AHA, American Red Cross, Health and Safety Institute, and Affiliate Faculty for NAEMT. He also teaches Industrial Medicine and is a Louisiana and Texas Certified Paramedic Instructor.
He is an avid backpacker, hiker, and fisherman.
